Witmer Heights gives great effort to create a welcome and authentic community where everyone feels they belong and are valued, including our guests. We attempt to include a variety of people of all ages in our worship services in providing music, sharing, collecting offering, and praying.
We have a care team that responds to needs and significant life events in our congregation through financial assistance, visits, physical assistance, and notes of encouragement. There are also spontaneous acts of care and support that we offer each other, along with pastoral care, counsel, and visitation.
Our church finds many opportunities to visit and eat together. We have a monthly fellowship meal on the 2nd Sunday after our worship service. We have a yearly church retreat weekend at a beautiful retreat center. We have been holding numerous outdoor worship services that are typically followed by a time of fellowship and other picnics and gathering through the year.
