Serve Team

Figuring out together how to follow Jesus and make our community and world a better place.

At Witmer Heights, we strive to engage our community with the hope that is uniquely found in Jesus for one’s life and for the world, and to share his love with others through acts of encouragement and service. We believe the way of peace is central to the life and teachings of Jesus and we seek to promote peace and just actions in our community and our world.

Through our local Conestoga Valley ministerium, we are active with Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services by volunteering with their food and clothing ministry, as well as their summer lunch program. We also have many who volunteer with Mennonite Central Committee’s resource center.  Every year, through the Mennonite Resource Center, we assemble hundreds of school kits that are donated to those in need in the world.

Our property is used by the Conestoga Valley little league baseball organization, and our building hosts 2 service organizations: Keystone Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services and Life Skills.

Through our personal connections with our neighbors and co-workers, we seek to communicate the hope we have found in Jesus through our friendships and acts of service. We also want to be available to respond to needs, crises and conflicts in our community.
